TRAVELLING IN THE CITY

The old man, in a synchronized pause, watches as his jumbled luggage is up for grab by a group of rowdy city brokers. The scene isn't just a background prop, but a refreshing view of nostalgia anyone else around could notice. It is never the sight of buses that reminds me of where I was anymore, it was the people that crowded the space; the matatu crew, conductors and city brokers. This is a very common antecedent and experience in every urban city, especially in Nairobi.
